He heard a knock at the door. He answered it to see a girl about his age. She was only a bit shorter than him and had the wavy brown hair and sharp blue eyes. She smiled and asked if he was up for an adventure. He smiled at her weird proposal. He didn't even know her name. He told her it depended on what the adventure was and her telling him her name. She told him her name and that she had been adopted and was looking for her twin brother. Thus began their the first of many adventures.
This sounds like a very interesting story which I would like to read more about. I like how you had given vivid detail to the whole story.
